Each mini video converter features 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown, which allows you to extract 24P/30P from 60i and 25P from 50i/pSF equivalents in real time. The built-in flashlight mode uses an LED torch so you can work in dark or dimly lit applications. A test pattern generator and audio test tone are also available.
There are two sets of Atomos mini video converters: Connect and Connect AC. Connect AC models draw power from standard AC cables, but the Connect models are something special. Although they aren’t as compact and portable as the Atomos converters, these devices still operate at a professional level of power and reliability. HDMI to SD, HD, 3G or 6G-SDI and vice versa provides resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) and DCI 4K (4096 x 2160). Input video format is automatically detected and switches to the corresponding output format. Standard connections allow Blackmagic mini video converters to easily work with existing workflow setups. Audio sampling works at 24-bit, 48kHz. HD scaler and SD down conversion technology compliments 4:2:2 sampling and color precision.
