You thought the RIO3224 and RIO1608 D series were it, and nothing was better?  Well look out for the RIO3224-D2  and the RIO1608-D2 series stage boxes, as they will blow your ears as far as the prestine and all natural sound reproduction. The of course have the Dante audio networking in order to keeping the sound flawless and natural.  They are used for the Riavage PM7 digital console and will also work with the CL and QL series digital consoles.  Its like giving your already CL system a boost in sound.  The 3 big differences between the RIO D series and the RIO d-2 series , is that the New RIO d-2 series have higher quality mic-pres, the display and local control of the unit on the front of the RIO, and the DUAL redundant power supply…. which in it self is work its weight in gold!

This high-capacity, high-performance I/O rack is compatible with Yamaha CL and QL series consoles as well as the RIVAGE PM series. It features 32 analog inputs, 16 analog outputs, and eight digital AES/EBU outputs. The Rio3224-D2 connects directly to Dante digital audio networks, allowing flexible system configuration. Dual power supply units are built in for high reliability, and a character/graphic display offers easy visual confirmation.
